Summary:
This project covers all BVPI’s collected by Best Value Authorities as part of the 2000/01 Best Value surveys.
The key aims of the research are to:
- Scope the possible methods and cost of measuring BVPI’s at the small area level
- For a range of types of authority disaggregate the BVPI data in order to test the proposed methods
- In discussion with the Department, establish which BVPI’s are a) likely to be perceived to be of most importance and b) which, if any, should be given more weight at a small area level
- Consider the reporting, presentation and manipulation of the disaggregated BVPI data
