ZDES Algorithms

• ZDES offers three ways of estimating Z to optimise any F(Z)

  • Mild steepest descent using a Monte Carlo approach as in AZP
  • Simulated Annealing
  • Tabu search

• Note that F(Z) can be any general function computed from zonal data
