Doing better

• Databases transformed into a Spatial Form are more readily modelled than micro data but the task is still hard

• Statistical methods for multivariate spatial data modeling are still rudimentary

• Spatial data relationships tend to be non-linear, discontinuous and spatial autocorrelated

• There is a need for new modelling methods because ignorance of relationships and a lack of theory precludes good model specification
