So, now we have a model, what can we do with it?
You may already be thinking about what makes it work fast and slow. Try and list three things that change the speed at which disease spreads through the model. If you are unsure as to whether they'll speed up the model or not, try them and time it (see, also the page on showing disease spread).
How do these things relate to the real world?
What is unrealistic about the model, and how might we improve it?
One improvement we can make is to think about people either dying from the disease, or recovering from it and becoming immune. You can find out about modelling these in Modelling deadly diseases and Modelling realistic diseases.
Otherwise head back to the start page.
