Notes
- MoSeS Technical Meeting 2008-04-01 Minutes
- Meeting preliminaries
- It was agreed I was to chair this meeting (I had guessed it would be my turn, so had done a little preparation for this).
- The first step was to agree an agenda.
- The meeting began at 14:30 and had to finish by 15:30 when Mark had another meeting.
- I tried to encourage the use of the portal where I had posted a provisional agenda.
- Mark asked for it to be read out so he could write it down on paper :-/
- He has a laptop, but I just don't think he wants to get the hang of using it and the portal in such meetings...
- Belinda logged into the portal and accessed documentation on the MoSeS Worksite during the meeting using the PC on her desk :-).
- We were late getting organised for this meeting
- Paul had not been made aware it was happening until the morning and was busy with other work and did not attend.
- The minutes from the last meeting were circulated only on the morning of this meeting giving little time for adequate preparation.
- We should do better!
- I aim to handover to the next meeting chair so that we are in a position to be more organised and prepared for the next meeting...
- Mark requested dissemination be added to the agenda while I summarised the provisional agenda and logged into the portal via my laptop.
- Miscellaneous notes
- Belinda has met with Haibo and Jinyi. Haibo is under the impression that I am working on estimating exposure to pollution as a result of traffic.
- This is not really the case, although I have done some work on developing proxies for exposure to help analyse the pattern of personal injury road accident incidence in Great Britian.
- The eSheet proposal was not funded, which was about developing such exposure proxies...
- Currently my PhD topic concerns developing agent based models of daily activity.
