- I used the NCeSS Sakai Portal as per protocol.
- Mark decided to chair this meeting and the first step was to agree an agenda and work out who was taking notes.
- Mark decreed that it was upto the chair of any meeting to organise the meeting and ensure minutes were produced.
- I tried to encourage the use of the portal, but it didn't really happen.
- I only made the following detailed notes on this meeting available on 2008-04-01:
  - They were with-held to try to make a point, but I'm not sure it really hit the mark ;-).

        I pointed out that this is not how the wiki pages are organised.
    2. Use of NCeSS portal
      - Andy tried hard to encourage use of the wiki during meetings.
        
        Mark not going to do that:
        
        For a start, it is yet another username and password to remember and that is regarded as too much of a barrier to entry!
      - We did agree to try to use the wiki to glue all the pieces of the project together.
      - In the meantime Andy will continue to also use part of his School of Geography Web Pages.

    4. Data, Source Code and Documentation

      - Belinda's code and data on BSCW
