          • Different organisations call Security and GateKeepers different things, but they all have them!
          • Excellent UML of Basic License Model.
          • Our MoSeS portal needs to pass on a license to protect us and enable users to know what they can do with the derivative works.
          • The security is in keys not in encryption/decryption algortithms.
          • Open source is more secure as you can check for hidden back doors which you can't with a black box.
        • OWS-4 Security can be used for GEESE part 2 and the moves in OWS-5 look good for JISC OGC Grid Collision.
          • What about incorporating Grid/eScience Security?
          • I get the impression Shibboleth and eScience Proxy Certificate/token can be useful, but is there any software from the Grid community working with XACML or SAML or something that can do the DRM?
          • Perhaps the role of Grid Security is in enabling secure encryption and deletion of data so it can be processed in a safe virtual environment on computational resources that reside on systems administered anywhere.
